Safety Tips

• Check smoke detectors (every six months)
• Keep fire extinguishers handy
  (one in the garage and one near the kitchen)
• Watch for frayed extension cords and keep away from water
• Clean chimney before next winter
• Store chemicals properly and out of reach of children
• Put proper guards on lawn movers
  (Keep pets and children away while mowing)
• Keep a first aid kit close by & take a CPR course
• Write down ALL emergency phone numbers, such as the poison control center, doctors, sheriff, and fire department
• Keep matches and lighters out of reach of all children
• Never leave pots and pans unattended while cooking
