The "time of use" meter has a digital display which rotates through a series of numbers every 10 to 15 seconds. Two reads are needed to calculate your bill. The 02 and the 06 reads.   "02" The "02" read is the first read to turn in. It is the "on-peak" electricity you home uses.     "06" The "06" read is the second read to turn in. It is the "off-peak" electricity your home uses.     The other displays are to check that the filaments are not burned out, you see all "8's"; there also is a time display in military time.
