Jacque Sikes was born and raised in Rye, CO. In 1996, she became an American Family Insurance Agent, working out of Pueblo West. Jacque moved her agency to Walsenburg in 1997 and in 1998, she made Walsenburg her home.

Prior to becoming an insurance agent, Jacque worked in the real estate industry in the Rye/Colorado City area and Denver.

Jacque currently holds the position of Walsenburg City Treasurer as well as serving on the Walsenburg Housing Authority Board and the Huerfano County Regional Building Authority Board. Jacque also serves as a board member for the C.V.C.P. She previously served a 2 year term on the Walsenburg City council.

Jacque values the principles and relationships she has gained from being raised and living in small communities. She genuinely cares for the well-being of her customers as well as fellow members of her community and strives to make Walsenburg a better place to live.
